Verizon Wireless will adopt the LTE (Long-Term Evolution) mobile broadband system for its fourth-generation network, shifting away from its current technology path built on CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access).
The carrier, the second-largest in the U.S., said in a news release Thursday it will begin trials of the technology next year with multiple equipment vendors. Vodafone Group, in the U.K., a part owner of Verizon Wireless, will also participate in the trials. Commercial deployment could come as early as 2010 and 2011, depending on the availability of devices and whether the market is ready, said Verizon spokesman Thomas Pica. It could be used on long-range 700MHz spectrum the U.S. Federal Communications Commission will auction off next year, he said.
LTE was developed in the 3GPP (Third-Generation Partnership Project) and is considered the next stage in the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) technology path. It is designed to deliver 100M bps (bits per second) per channel and give individual users performance comparable to today's wired broadband. Until now, Verizon has followed the CDMA path spearheaded by Qualcomm. Its current 3G (third-generation) network is based on EV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized), and it is the biggest EV-DO carrier in the world's largest CDMA market.

She didn't like us practicing karate, so she turned up her stereo, and my friend Brian and I ended up practicing karate to the CD. my response became a little long, so i wanted to finish what i was thinking here. on my page, instead of competing with his story.
right on.
I never got into vinyl for one reason or another, but as i finally own my own place i feel something like a record player and a collection of really good records seems evident and insanely important of an idea to pass up.
p.s.s and i quote.."I’d like to close with the following LL Cool J lyric, Don’t Call It a Comeback, I’ve Been Here for Years."
i know i'm in a silent protest for buying digital players, as my iPod broke 4 times in one year, thankfully each under the previous ones 90 day exchange warranty, so this might be a good time to dive in.
plus bigger cover art will stop bands from
taking stupid band photos for their album covers, since they'll not be easily ignored on a small cd case, so hopefully great art will be able to be hung on the wall again, and listened to in reflection, so, they'll have to create better music if there's nothing to distract us from how shitty it is.

I don’t feel any, I guess I have freakish arches and they are a little narrow but I’m used to skate shoes. These are excellent for fitting in at hardcore punk shows in the northeast....GO!
